Bio

Smith finished his freshman year at Hancock with 33 tackles, six tackles for loss and one sack. He forced and recovered a fumble for a touchdown against L.A. Pierce. Smith transferred to Hancock from University of North Alabama. An all-around athlete at Sheffield High School, Smith was an all-region and all-state football player, named Sixth Man of the Year in basketball, and placed fourth in the state in the 110-meter hurdles and discus throw. Catching an interception with one hand to clinch the regional title is his favorite sports memory. He plans to major in computer science and plans to one day coach and mentor youth.
