Bio
Chapa returns to Hancock after a solid freshman season for the league champion Bulldogs. He recorded 41 total tackles, including 2.5 for lost yardage. Chapa tied for the team lead with three interceptions to go with three pass breakups. Chapa also averaged 24.3 yards on kickoff returns, including a 51-yard return, and 8.2 yards on punt returns. Chapa was an all-league football player at Grandview High School in Colorado. He recorded 70 tackles and one interception, as well as compiled 159 yards on offense with one touchdown. He plans to transfer to a four-year university. He is a recreation management major who plans to transfer to a four-year university.
