Bio

Afe received All-Conference and All-State status his freshman year at Hancock. He caught two passes for 26 yards, and made countless key blocks up the field to create space for his running backs and receivers. Afe transferred to Hancock from Fort Hays State, a Division II program where he redshirted. A four-year varsity football player for Bartlett High School in Alaska, he received the 2016 Alaska Lineman of the Year award and was named to the All-League and All-State 1st Teams. The Liberal Arts major plans to become a teacher or a coach after his playing career. His favorite sports memory is beating San Bernardino City College in the American Championship Bowl in 2018. Jerome wishes that everyone knows how much he loves his family.
