Bio

Whitmill, Jr. returns to help lead the Bulldogs running game in 2019 after redshirting the 2018 campaign. As a freshman in 2017, he ranked second on the team with 688 yards rushing on 148 carries. He scored four touchdowns and averaged 4.6 yards per carry and 62.5 yards per game. He ran for a career-high 104 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in the team’s 46-7 win over L.A. Valley. Whitmill, Jr. posted four games with 80 or more rushing yards. He was a two-time all-conference running back for North Kansas City High School in Missouri. He set a career-high with 435 rushing yards in a single game. He played in the Kansas vs. Missouri All-Star Game. Emerging from a dog pile and scoring a touchdown is his favorite sports memory. He is pursuing an architecture degree.
