Andrew Lauritzen was named on the defensive side of the ball as a First Team All-State selection after completing his sophomore season as a defensive end. The Colorado native, who was also named to the First Team All-League list, tallied 51 tackles and forced two fumbles on the season. Lauritzen also registered 6.5 sacks through 10 games, a number that ranked him at No. 12 amongst all SCFA competitors at the conclusion of the regular season. He becomes the third member of the program to receive back-to-back First Team All-State honors over the last decade at any position since former tight end Jerome Afe ('18 & '19) and former running back Cameron Artis-Payne ('11 & '12).

Saipale Fuimaono received a First Team All-State nod for his work on the offensive side. The freshman from American Samoa saw action in all 11 games this season and served as a primary pillar for the Bulldogs' offensive line. Fuimaono becomes the seventh offensive lineman to receive an All-State designation for the program through the last 10 years.

The Bulldogs closed the season with an overall record of 6-5 and earned a share of the National Northern League title after going 3-2 against league foes. They also secured the 2022 James H. Cobb Family Strawberry Bowl title with a 20-17 overtime victory over Moorpark College at the end of November.
