Football's Chase Richards Commits to Utah Tech

ST. GEORGE, UTAH - Allan Hancock College football offensive lineman, Chase Richards, has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Utah Tech University next season.

"Utah Tech gave me the best opportunity to play football at the next level, which is something that I have always dreamed of doing," shared Richards. "The school is close to family and I fell in love with the area of Saint George and southern Utah instantly." 

Chase, a native of Templeton, has served as a critical piece of the Bulldogs' offensive line for two seasons. He appeared in all 11 games this season and was honored as a Second Team All-League selection at the conclusion of his sophomore campaign. 

"My time at AHC absolutely prepared me for success at the next level, especially when it comes to the level of competition that we played against. We faced off against players with the same dream of making to the next level in every game, and I gained a lot of confidence after playing against bigger competitors in the junior college football ranks," Richards added. "My time here also gave me experience when it comes to college athletics and how to balance things, which is something that is going to make me a better player at the next stage."

Utah Tech is a Division I member of the NCAA and competes in the Western Athletic Conference.
