ALLAN HANCOCK (3-2, 1-1) vs MOORPARK (2-3, 0-2)
QUARTER 1: AHC 14 | MP 14
Offensive prowess was on display for both sides in the opening frame after the two programs combined for four touchdowns across four consecutive possessions in the first 15 minutes of action. The visiting Raiders struck first with a five-play scoring drive that ended with a 55-yard touchdown after kickoff. The Bulldogs answered on the ensuing opportunity when AJ Vele took a 33-yard rush from the pocket past the goal line.
Moorpark responded once more with a six-play drive that spanned 70 yards and closed with a 10-yard touchdown pass, but Hancock bounced yet back again. Anthony Tucker put the home squad in scoring position after breaking free for a 48-yard stretch before being brought down at the MC's eight, which Caden Harris finished things off with a rushing touchdown.
QUARTER 2: AHC 7 | MP 6
The scoring frenzy cooled off in the second frame as Moorpark turned the ball over on downs and Jordan Orcutt stepped in to punt for the home crew. The visitors briefly took the lead with under three minutes remaining in the second after marching 58 yards downfield en route to a three-yard touchdown toss before missing the point-after kick.
The Bulldogs found an answer in the next opportunity with a series of rushes and a string of short pass completions. That effort ended with a three-yard scramble by Vele to score and a successful PAT by Chris Sapey that gave AHC a one-point advantage at the intermission.
QUARTER 3: AHC 7 | MP 0
Hancock opened the second half by chewing up nearly 10 minutes of time on a 15-play drive that covered 70 yards of the field. That possession featured receptions by Makai Puga, Jorge Avalos, and Roling Davis before Semaji Carmichael rushed for a 12-yard touchdown.
QUARTER 4: AHC 7 | MP 14
Things got wild in the final frame as AHC used a keeper by Vele for a one-yard touchdown to score the team's lone touchdown of the quarter and stretch the lead to 15.
The Raiders cut the deficit to seven after a 31-yard touchdown pass and a successful two-point conversion with two minutes remaining in regulation. Moorpark then recovered an on-side kick at midfield which ended with a 1-yard rush after a pair of lengthy pass completions with 56 seconds on the clock, but failed on the two-point try to take the lead.
