Men's Basketball Falls in Two Tight Games at Cuesta College
The Hancock men’s basketball team lost two tight games in at the 42nd annual Rabobank Tournament at Cuesta College Nov 5-6.
The team took on Redwoods College in their first game on Nov. 5. The final score was 59-64. Freshman forward Andrew Douby (Oakdale, CT) and sophomore center Ali Langford (Cottonwood Heights, UT) tied for the most points scored in the game with 14. Langford also had 14 rebounds.
The Bulldogs went up against Fullerton College on Nov. 6 and ended the close game with a final score of 65-68. Freshman Jordan O'byrne (Lompoc, CA) led the team in scoring with 23 points and seven rebounds. He was followed by sophomore Danijel Mihailovic (Belgrade, Serbia) and sophomore Bryn Cumberland (Arroyo Grande, CA), each with 10 points. Langford led the team in rebounds with 10 and contributed four points to the final score.
The Bulldogs take to the court again on Nov. 19 at the Fresno Community College tournament in Fresno, Calif. Their first home game will be held Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. against Bakersfield College.
