Annual Holiday Classic Men's Tourney Starts Dec. 28

The annual Allan Hancock College Holiday Classic men's basketball tournament begins Friday Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium on the college's Santa Maria campus. The Bulldogs take the court in their first game at 7 p.m. against Rio Hondo College.

There will be stiff competition at the tournament, including Fresno City College, currently ranked 2^nd in Northern California in the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association Poll and Cuesta College, ranked 9th in Southern California.

The Hancock men's basketball team enters the tournament, with a 9-5 pre-season record. The Bulldogs are currently ranked 15th in Southern California in the CCCMBCA poll.
