
Men Beat Cuesta 115-102
The Bulldogs have moved above Cuesta in the conference rankings after a 115-102 win at Cuesta College.
Demetrius Thomas came close to beating his season high of 41 points by putting 39 points on the board against Cuesta. Thomas also led the team in rebounds with 14. He is now ranked first in the confernce in points per game, 19.8, and third in rebounds per game, 8.6. Kufu Najee scored 21 points and had four assists. Najee has the team's highest field goal percentage, at 55.6 overall and 60.6 in conference play. He is also ranked second overall in assists, though against cuesta it was Leron fisher who was doing the most assisting. He had 14 points and 10 assists during the game.
Also on the board were Egerton Anderson and Devonne Nolan with 12 points apiece. Anderson is currently third in the conference in three point percentage and was two for seven on Wednesday night with six rebounds. Brian Vignaud scored 11 points, Anthony Trepagnier, 4, and Marquis Rivera, 2.
The Bulldogs are now 3-1 in conference and 16-7 overall and ranked third in the conference behind Los Angeles Pierce (4-0, 15-6) and Ventura (3-1, 19-5). Hancock plays at home against Los Angeles Pierce on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 5 p.m.
