
Hancock Men Look to Rebound at Porterville on Friday
The men's basketball returns to action on Friday, Dec. 11, at Porterville. The game will begin at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs are off to a 5-4 start and looking to bounce back from a 60-58 loss to Cerritos, the No. 12 team in the Southern California regional rankings.
Hancock nearly overcame a 16-point first half deficit, but missed two shots in the closing seconds in the 60-58 loss to Cerritos. Freshman guard Malik Rhodes led the Bulldogs with 12 points. Marcellus Garrick added 10 points. Tim Ford pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds. Hancock made 33 percent of its shots from the floor, while Cerritos hit 53 percent of its shots.

Porterville is off to a 3-8 start. Travis Flagg is the team's leading scorer at 14.1 points per game, while Tyler Roberts ranks second at 13.7 points.
Last year, Hancock defeated Porterville 68-61.
