Men's & Women's Basketball League Opener Postponed

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's and women's basketball doubleheader versus Moorpark College, originally slated for January 5th, has been postponed due to COVID-related issues for both the hosts and the visitors.

The decision comes after contact tracing and cautionary quarantine procedures were enacted. "This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our student-athletes," stated Director of Athletics Kim Ensing. "Allan Hancock continues to adhere to the guidelines provided by our institution and our governing bodies. We are committed to returning to play in the safest manner possible with the appropriate time for practice and physical reconditioning in mind."
