
Men's Basketball Announces 2022-23 Schedule, Season Passes Now Available
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball team has officially announced its 2022-23 schedule, which begins with an early home opener against Porterville College on November 2nd. | FULL SCHEDULE
The annual "Meet the Bulldogs" event will be returning this year and is set for October 27th at 5:30 PM. At the event, fans will get a sneak peek at the 2022-23 men's and women's basketball teams as they participate in a number of drills and competitions. The event will be free and open to the public.
Tyson Aye will enter his 10th season at the helm of the program in the upcoming campaign. He will be joined on the sideline by assistant coaches Kurt Dykema (6th season), David Norris II (2nd season), Connor Dodd (2nd season), and Sylvester Espinoza (2nd season).
The upcoming schedule features action against 15 non-conference opponents and 12 Western State Conference (WSC) foes. Hancock's schedule features a number of highly competitive matchups, including five teams that were ranked in the final edition of the CCCMBA Coaches' Top 30 Poll at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.
The Bulldogs are set to host two tournaments at home this season, beginning with the Home Motors Tournament on Nov. 18-20. The AHC Holiday Classic, which dates back to 1955, will take place on Dec. 29-30.
Conference action is slated to begin after the holiday break with a home showing versus Oxnard on January 7th and will come to a close on February 17th at home against Ventura. Postseason action will feature three rounds of regional play (Feb. 22, Feb. 25, March 4) at campus sites, followed by the CCCAA Men's Basketball State Tournament at West Hills Lemoore on March 9-12.
Basketball season pass packages, which are offered in three different tiers and grant access to all men's and women's home basketball events during the regular season, are now available for purchase at ahcbulldogs.com/ticketing. Single-game tickets will also be available for purchase prior to the start of the season. As a reminder, cash will not be accepted at the gate and the full description of ticketing procedures can be found here. Fans who are not purchasing a season pass are strongly encouraged to purchase single-game tickets prior to arrival, but will also have the opportunity to pay for a ticket on-site with a credit or debit card at the gate.
