Bulldogs Pass Road Test at West Hills Coalinga

COALINGA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball secured a road victory over West Hills College Coalinga in an 80-62 decision on Tuesday evening. | BOX SCORE

The Bulldogs (4-5) held a comfortable 38-25 lead at the intermission before going on to outscore Coalinga (6-3) by five in the second half. Hancock finished the evening with a 45.2 shooting percentage from the field while limiting the Falcons to a 20.8 percent showing from distance. The visiting squad also won the battle for the boards at a 42-31 margin, but struggled at the charity stripe after going 14-of-27.

Taevon Pierre-Louis led the way for Coach Aye's squad with a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double performance. The Ohio native, who finished with an efficient 8-for-10 mark from the field, also dished out a team-best number of seven assists. Quincy Bently followed with 16 points, which included four three-pointers, while Darryl Brooks II scored 13. 

Hancock is set to return to action at home on Saturday, December 3rd, for a showdown against West Hills College Lemoore.
