Men's Basketball: Pierre-Louis Named to CCCMBCA All-State Honorable Mention List

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Allan Hancock College men's basketball standout, Taevon Pierre-Louis, has been tabbed as a 2022-23 CCCMBCA All-State Honorable Mention selection after a solid breakout campaign. He becomes the seventh member of the program to receive a state-level nod since 2006. | FULL LIST

Pierre-Louis was also one of four Bulldogs to be recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection this season after a stellar collegiate debut. The freshman forward from Ohio started in all 29 of his appearances this season and led the Bulldogs with 16.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He registered six 20+ point showings en route to 17 double-doubles and one triple-double on the season.

Pierre-Louis ended the season by being ranked in a number of statistical categories at the state level, primarily in the rebounding columns. Some of the top-ranked categories for him include defensive rebounds (223/6th), total rebounds (323/8th), and rebounds per game (11.1/9th).
