Frightmare Forest is Back!
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - For the first time since 2019, the Allan Hancock College men's basketball program is preparing to scare and delight the community with the return of the "Frightmare Forest" haunted maze.
The three-acre haunted maze is located at Hancock's baseball and softball complex and is adjacent to the college's vineyard at 800 South College Drive in Santa Maria.
Maze runners brave enough to enter the eerie labyrinth will navigate their way through an entanglement of tricks and spooky surprises. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the men's basketball program.
"We're thrilled to bring back Frightmare Forest this year," shared Coach Tyson Aye. "Prior to the pandemic, this event was a community tradition where kids of all ages, their friends, and their families could come to experience a good old-fashioned scare. We're looking forward to bringing that tradition back and reconnecting with our community in a fun, yet frightening, way."
Frightmare Forest will run from 7 -10 p.m. on October 26th, 27th, 28th, and 31st. Attendees are invited and encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
Tickets for the maze are $15 per person and can be purchased on-site or online at ahcbulldogs.com/ticketing. Free parking and the entrance to the maze are located at the baseball and softball complex.
