Men's Basketball Snaps Two Game Skid at Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball team snapped a two game losing streak with a decisive 85-52 victory at West Hills College Lemoore on Saturday evening. | BOX SCORE

The Bulldogs (5-4) held a slim five-point advantage at the intermission before exploding in the second half while limiting the Golden Eagles (6-2) to just 24 points. As a team, the Bulldogs saw a significant improvement from the field after shooting 43.5 percent on the night and posting a 36.8 percent finish from distance. They also forced 20 WHC turnovers and outrebounded the host squad 48-33.

Noah Haaland led the way for the program with 17 points off of the bench after a perfect 5-for-5 showing from the field and a 7-for-8 performance at the charity stripe. Taevon Pierre-Louis added 13 bench points and snagged a team-best of eight rebounds, followed by Mylo Santos who chipped in with 11 points and five steals. Assad Madassalia and Jeremyah Aquino rounded out the top scorers with 10 tallies apiece, while Jaren Johnson dished out a season-high of seven assists. 

The Bulldogs are set to return to action with another non-conference showdown against Porterville College on December 7th. Single-game tickets for the event, which is scheduled to begin at 5 PM inside of the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium, can be purchased here. As per usual, the ticketing gate will be cashless and fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to arrival, but credit/debit card purchases can be made at the gate.
