Men's Basketball: Bulldogs Stretch Streak to Ten with Win over Cuesta

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball program picked up a 10th consecutive win against Cuesta College at home on Wednesday evening in a Western State Conference (North) showdown. | BOX SCORE

Both programs were even in the opening half as the Bulldogs (14-4, 2-0) held just a two point advantage at the intermission. Cuesta (6-13, 1-2) tied the game with a quick layup on their first possession of the second half before the two teams continued to trade baskets down the stretch. The home squad began to pull away in the final five minutes of regulation en route to the 77-65 victory. 

Hancock found success on the inside after outscoring the Cougars, 36-28, in the paint while boasting a +14 advantage on the boards. Mylo Santos was tops for Coach Aye's crew with a 25-point performance, followed by a 19-point showing from Taevon Pierre-Louis. Assad Madassalia led the way with 12 rebounds and added two blocks.
