Next Level: Jaden Pena to Join Queens College Roster

QUEENS, N.Y. - Allan Hancock College center, Jaden Pena, has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Queens College next season.

"I chose Queens College because of the connection that I felt with Coach Collier. We have similar goals that we both want to accomplish and it felt like Queens was the best fit for me to continue being a student-athlete and pursuing my dreams," Pena shared.

Pena spent one season with the Bulldogs on the court after transferring over from Porterville College. The New York native averaged 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game after appearing in 31 contests. He poured in a season-high of 20 points in the thrilling 76-73 victory over Moorpark College in January after an impressive 9-for-10 finish from the floor.

"My time here at AHC has prepared me for the next step in my life, both on the court and off," Pena added. "My coaches and teammates pushed me to be a better basketball player, student, and just an overall better person every day."

The Knights are a Division II member of the NCAA and compete in the East Coast Conference.
