Hancock Golfer Austin Kaiser Takes Top Finish at Glendora
    Sophomore Austin Kaiser (Atascadero) had his best score of the season, a 67, and came home with the first place finish at the Glendora Invitational on Monday, March 26.  With his score, Kaiser went from second place in the conference to the top, becoming the player with the best average so far this season.
   
      “Austin works hard and is really focused,” said golf coach Mike Denne.
 
     The Allan Hancock College men’s golf team took sixth place out of 28 teams at the Glendora Invitational with a combined score of 379. Matt Sobczak (Righetti) shot a 76, Bret Walberg (Righetti) shot a 77, Brett Van Dyke (Lompoc) had a 79 and Angelo Galletti (Sherman Oaks) shot an 80.

    The golf team travels to Ventura on April 2 to play in their next tournament at the Saticoy Country Club.
