Golfer Austin Kaiser Takes Top Spot at WSC Glendale

    Sophomore Austin Kaiser (Atascadero) took first place by five shots at the Western State Conference golf tournament at Glendale Monday, April 16. Kaiser shot 70 for the day, his best for the season so far and the top score in the WSC overall.  The Bulldogs took third place in the tournament, behind Glendale College and College of the Canyons.  

    Matt Sobczak had the second best score for Hancock, a 79, followed by Angelo Galletti (Sherman Oaks), Brett Van Dyke (Lompoc) and Bret Walberg (Righetti). Hancock's next competition is set April 20 at 1 p.m. at the Santa Maria Country Club.
