Men's Golf Opens WSC Action at River Ridge Golf Course
Allan Hancock College men's golf opened Western State Conference action on Monday at the River Ridge Golf Course after seeing the originally scheduled opener get postponed at the beginning of the month.
The Bulldogs finished in eighth place out of eight participating programs after posting a team score of 477. College of the Canyons won the event with a final tally of 366, followed by Citrus College (375) and Bakersfield College (384).
Johnathan Riley led AHC as the lone individual to earn a top-25 placement. He shot 78 on the day, placing him in a tie for 18th. Nick Londono (95) and Vincent Hernandez (99) also shot under 100 on the day.
WSC play is scheduled to continue Monday, Feb. 19 at Alisal Ranch Golf Course in Solvang in the conference event hosted by Santa Barbara City College.
