Men's Golf Takes Tenth at Rig City Invitational

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's golf team took 10th place at the Rig City Invitational, hosted by Bakersfield College, on Monday afternoon. 

The Bulldogs shot a new season-low of 429 on the day and finished ahead of Taft College who turned in a score of 442. The hosting Renegades split the top spot with Glendale after both leaders shot 375, followed by Canyons and Reedley at 376.

Jonathan Riley led the way individually and landed in a six-way tie for fifth place after carding 73. Adrian Gonzalez also had a notable performance after shooting a career-low of 86.

Hancock will next travel to the 36-hole WSC Championships on Monday, April 29, at Knollwood Golf Course in Granada Hills.
