2020 Swimming and Dive Post Season Awards and Records
The Allan Hancock College swimming and dive programs would like to announce the results of the 2020 seasons. Due to the cancelation of spring sports all athletics programs saw shortened seasons. Despite the shortened seasons, Bulldog swim and dive observed a strong start to the men's swim program, new records and personal bests. Outlined below are the highlights from the 2020 swim season.
2020 Season Summary
Isabella Fraire broke the school record for the 50 breaststroke and was named the Allan Hancock College Female Athlete of the Year. Fraire currently holds five school records. During the season Fraire was accepted to San Jose State University.
The women's swimming and diving team recorded 33 new top twenty Allan Hancock event times this year.
The men's swimming and diving team opened its inaugural season this year.
Keshaun Patel currently holds 14 school records, Gabriel clear holds seven, Mark Huicochea holds five, and Jacob Torres holds five. Patel was accepted to Southwestern State University.
