Amerson was a running back on the Hancock football team from 2013-14. His sophomore season, Amerson rushed for 564 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Bulldogs. He rushed for a career-high 107 yards and one touchdown against Moorpark. The Michigan native graduated from Consortium High School where he was an All-League and All-State pick after he rushed for more than 1,500 yards. The architectural design major’s father played minor league baseball.
