Track & Field Sees Three Qualify for 3C2A State Championship

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College track & field programs saw three individuals qualify to continue competition at the next level after competing in the 2025 Southern California Regional Championship, hosted by Saddleback College, on Saturday. | FULL RESULTS

The men's team will see two throwers advance to the state level after a pair of top-10 heaves. Jacob Garbiso led the way with a third place finish in the shot put after a throw of 14.82 meters. Esequiel Gauna will join him next weekend after securing ninth place in the javelin after a 47.31-meter toss. They will join Juan Santiago, who qualified in the men's 10,000-meter race last weekend. 

The 2025 3C2A Track & Field Championship is set to take place May 16-18 at San Mateo College.
