Cross Country: Bulldogs Continue Competition at Oxnard Invitational

OXNARD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College cross country teams continued competition by participating in the Oxnard Invitational, hosted at Oxnard College Park, on Friday morning. 

The women's team finished fourth of eight competing teams on the day. Hancock had three individuals land in the top-30, led by a fourth place finish from Itandehui Olea (19:29.93). Eva Luu (20:57.91) claimed the 25th spot while Maraitzel Moreno Gutierrez (21:06.60) took 30th. Other members of Coach Youngblood's squad to compete on the day were Makayla Gonzalez (41st / 22:15.63), Annais Vega (47th / 22:32.06), and Rosalie Nicolas (83rd / 29:59.42). | FULL RESULTS

The men's team landed in 12th of 13 at the end of the event. Ethan Stenhouse led the pack for AHC with a final time of 24:34.83, placing him at 83rd amongst the individual field. Isaiah Lopez (26:57.55) crossed next as the 107th finisher, followed by Pablo Ruiz (110th / 27:22.64) and Orlando Marin (111th / 28:09.45). Fredy Sanchez rounded out the runners for Hancock in the 125th slot (35:29.93). | FULL RESULTS

The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Friday, September 15th, at the SoCal Preview. The event will take place at El Dorado Park in Long Beach.
