Bulldogs Sweep Top Individual Spots at George Brooks XC Invitational
MARTINEZ, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College cross country programs swept through the top placements for a second consecutive week after competing at the Geroge Brooks XC Invitational at Hidden Valley Park on Friday afternoon. | FULL RESULTS
The women's team took the top spot for the second straight week after seeing four finishers land in the top-10. They edged out Diablo Valley College and Hartnell College in the race for the top. Itandehui Olea led the way with a first place performance after clocking a final time of 19:00.2. She was followed by Eva Luu (5th), Makayla Gonzalez (7th), and Araceli Medina (8th).
The men's program took fourth out of seven scoring programs with two individuals finishing in the top-10. John Gutierrez picked up his second consecutive individual title with a time of 21:49.2, followed by a fifth place finish from Erick Marceleno.
Both squads will have a week off before returning to action on Friday, October 4th, at the SoCal Preview event at Grigby Field.
