Chenault Named State Pitcher of the Week, No.9 Bulldogs Prepare for Five Games This Week
The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association selected Katie Chenault its State Pitcher of the Week. The 2014 All-State selection and Western State Conference Pitcher of the Year followed that up last week with a 12-strikeout effort in Hancock's 10-2 five-inning win over Ventura in the Bulldogs' conference opener.
Chenault sits third in the state with 131 strikeouts, fourth with 10 wins and second with 11.23 strikeouts per game.
