Jessica Rothanzl drove in four runs, Katie Chenault threw a complete game and hit her sixth home run, and Missy Regalado added 3 RBI to lead the Allan Hancock College softball team to a 12-1 win in five innings at Moorpark on Thursday. The Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 12 in the state and No. 6 in the Southern California Regional, improved to 11-0 in Western State Conference play and 27-2-1 overall. They extended their winning streak to 25 and handed head coach Scia Maumausolo her 104th career win with the Bulldogs.

Hancock tied the game four pitches into the second when Chenault launched a ball over the left field wall for her sixth longball of the season to tie it 1-1. Hancock took the lead for good in the third when Michaela Valencia doubled to left, Megan Love walked, Rothanzl sacrificed both runners over with a bunt, and Regalado hit a sacrifice fly to center field to drive in Valencia.

The Bulldogs carried the 2-1 lead into the top of the fifth when they sent 14 batters to the plate and scored 10 runs. Valencia walked and scored twice in the frame, while Love singled and walked and came around to score twice. Big hits in the frame were a two-run double by Salazar, a two-run single with the bases loaded by freshman catcher Teanna Silveira, a bases loaded-clearing double from Rothanzl, and a RBI-double from Regalado.

Rothanzl's 4 RBI increased her season total to 42, the most in the Western State Conference, while Salazar upped to total to 41.
