Seven Land on All-Conference List for Softball

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock Colleg program had seven student-athletes tabbed as all-conference selections for the northern division of the Western State Conference at the conclusion of the regular season.

Danica Black and Delayna Quezada headlined the group after being honored as First Team All-Conference Selections. 

Quezada, an Arroyo Grande product, led the Bulldogs with 53 RBIs on the season and ranks fourth on the team with a .348 batting average. She ended the season with 39 hits, including nine doubles and two home runs, and was struck out just 10 times after 112 appearances in the box. Quezada also served as the primary pitcher for AHC this season and closed out her sophomore campaign with a 12-12 record after 156 innings of work in the circle. 

Black, an Orcutt Academy graduate, ranks second on the team with a .456 batting average after recording 46 hits on 107 appearances at the plate. She tallied 33 RBIs with nine doubles and three triples. Black served as the secondary pitcher for the squad where she went 5-5 in the circle while working towards an average of 4.24 strikeouts per seven innings. 

Kaylee Dolores, Rianna Dulay, and Shayla Bautista picked up Second Team All-Conference nods.  

Dolores led the team with a .456 batting average and had a team-high of 17 stolen bases, while Dulay was tops for Hancock with 10 doubles and ranked third with a .350 average in the box. Bautista led the Bulldogs with a .571 on-base percentage and led the state in the hit-by-pitch category after being tagged 31 times.

Hailey Pasillas and Jonessa Marquez rounded out the honorees after landing on the All-Conference Honorable Mention list.
