
Softball Blanks San Bernardino Valley in Non-Conference Showdown
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College softball team picked up a 3-0 victory on the road against San Bernardino Valley College (3-17) on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference contest. | BOX SCORE
After six scoreless innings, the Bulldogs (4-8) broke through in the top of the seventh, plating all three of their runs. Dezirae Rodriguez delivered the big blow with a clutch two-RBI single through the left side, while Tori Salazar also drove in one run in the frame. The offense tallied 8 hits, led by Isabel Sanchez who went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
Freshman pitcher Havanah Michel was dominant in the circle, throwing a complete-game shutout. She allowed just five hits and no walks over 7.0 innings, striking out three and facing only 28 batters.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Tuesday, March 25th, for a Western State Conference (North) showdown in Santa Monica. They will face the Corsairs for a neutral site game at John Adams Middle School at 2:30 PM.
