SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College softball team capped off a back-to-back home stand with mixed results, earning a decisive win over Pasadena City College on Monday before falling in extra innings to Oxnard College in a conference showdown on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now move to 8-18 overall and 4-8 in Western State Conference (North) play. Pasadena City falls to 5-26 while Oxnard now holds an overall mark of 15-16 (7-5 WSC).
Hancock has two more games remaining on the spring slate. They'll host Santa Monica on April 17th (1 PM) and Ventura on April 22nd (2:30 PM).

The Bulldogs opened the week with a commanding 12-6 victory over Pasadena City College in a non-conference showdown.
Hancock struck early and often, scoring in six of seven innings while pounding out 13 hits as a team. Kaylee Dolores powered the offense with two hits, including one double, while driving in four runs. Khaelii Robertson-Mack followed with three RBIs, and Jonessa Marquez plated one after a triple to the fence. Tori Salazar, Riley Vannasap, Katy Matthews, and Isabel Sanchez also finished with multiple hits after knocking two apiece.
Roberston-Mack picked up the win in the circle after 4.2 innings of work while Havanah Michel recorded her first save of the season down the stretch for the final 2.1 frames.

In a tightly contested Western State Conference matchup, Hancock dropped a 10-inning heartbreaker to Oxnard College, 7-6, despite a gritty performance.
After trailing 4–1 early, the Bulldogs came alive in the fifth with a three-run rally to tie the game, then added two more in the sixth to briefly take the lead. Oxnard answered with a run in the seventh to force extras, and ultimately plated two runs in the top of the 10th to escape with the win.
AHC collected eight hits on the day, with strong offensive contributions from Dezirae Rodriguez (2 hits, 1 RBI), Robertson-Mack (RBI double), and Dolores, who also doubled and drove in a run. Shianne Gooley had two hits, one run scored, and a stolen base, while Juliza Evans also stole a base as a pinch runner. Matthews and Sanchez also notched two RBIs apiece on the day.
In the circle, Robertson-Mack started the game but faced an early exit after 1.2 frames. Michel pitched 8.1 strong innings in relief, allowing just two earned runs and striking out seven.
