Hancock Women's Basketball Player named WSC Athlete of the Week

    Forward Chrissy Bessermin (Orcutt, CA), a freshman from Righetti High School, was recently selected as the Western State Conference Athlete of the Week. Bessermin is a leading scorer and regular starter for the Bulldogs, with an average of 10.2 points per game. Bessermin and freshman gaudrs Ashley Bonenfant (Lompoc, CA) were also recently named to the Bulldog Classic All-Tournament team. 

    The Bulldogs are 3-10 so far in non-conference play this season. The team is back on the court on Jan. 6 in their first conference game at Ventura College.
