Women's Basketball Teams up with Toys for Tots at Bulldog Classic
The Allan Hancock College women’s basketball team is celebrating the holidays by teaming up with the Toys for Tots Foundation of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties at the annual Bulldog Classic basketball tournament.
Bring an unwrapped toy worth \$10 or more to the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium during the tournament on Dec. 8-10 from 1 to 7 p.m. to receive a tournament pass worth \$15 and good for entry into the entire three-day tournament.
The Bulldogs will be hosting teams from Cuesta College, Saddleback College, Barstow College, Oxnard College, Mendocino College, Marin College and College of the Sequoias. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.
Hancock is entering the tournament with the Western State Conference’s leading scorer on their roster. Sophomore Camille Zumbro is averaging 26 points a game for a total of 208 so far this season. The Bulldogs take to the court on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. against Marin College.
