Bulldog Basketball Opens Season Friday, Nov. 6; Women Host Porterville, Men Play At Cuesta Tournament (Bracket Included)
The 2015-16 basketball season tips off Friday, November 6, for the men's and women's basketball teams of Allan Hancock College.
The women open at home against Porterville College at 11 a.m. inside Joe White Memorial Gymnasium. The program will host Porterville, West Hills Lemoore and Santa Barbara City College for a four-team, two-day crossover tournament. The schedule will be as follows:
Friday, Nov. 6: Porterville vs. Hancock, 11 a.m.
West Hills vs. Santa Barbara, 1 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 7: Santa Barbara vs. Porterville, 5 p.m.
West Hills vs. Hancock, 7 p.m.
The men will open at the 47th annual Cuesta College Rabobank Basketball Tournament in San Luis Obispo. The Bulldogs face College of the Sequoias at 2 p.m on Friday. The winner advances to Saturday's championship semifinals at 5 p.m., while the loser plays at 1 p.m. Saturday in the consolation semis.

The Hancock men open a four-game homestand on Saturday, Nov. 14, when the Bulldogs host the junior varsity team from William Jessup University at 3 p.m. They'll host the inaugural Home Motors Tournament from Friday, Nov. 20, through Sunday, Nov. 22.
