Morgan, Lino and Pruett Score All-WSC Honors

Three Allan Hancock College women's basketball players have scored All-Western State Conference honors for their efforts during the 2018-19 season. The Bulldogs finished the campaign 10-15 overall and 2-8 in conference action.

Freshman guard Danielle Morgan earned a spot on the All-WSC First Team. The Lompoc High School graduate led the Bulldogs in points and rebounds per game, averaging 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds. Morgan reach double-figures in points in 21 of the 23 games she played, and pulled down 10 or more rebounds on six occasions to secure double-doubles.

Sophomore Tawny Lino and Tashara Pruett received honorable mention. Lino, a sophomore guard and Pioneer Valley High School graduate, averaged 12.9 points per game. She scored 10 or more points in 18 games, including nine of the final 10 games of the season. Lino racked up a season-best 29 points in a 61-44 win over Oxnard. Her season-bests were 24 points against Las Positas and Cuesta, as well as 14 boards in games against Las Positas and Siskiyous.

Pruett, a Lompoc High product, returned to the court after taking a break since the 2014-15 season. Pruett averaged 7.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. She enjoyed 11 games with 10 or more rebounds, including a season-high 15 boards against Bakersfield. Pruett poured in a season-best 13 points against San Diego City, reaching double-digits in points nine times, recording four double-doubles.
