Aryana Gonzales Set to Continue Play at Embry-Riddle

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Women's basketball standout, Aryana Gonzales, has committed to continuing her academic and athletic career at Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) Aeronautical University next season. She is set to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering while competing for the Eagles. 

The Mission Prep alum has spent two seasons with the Bulldogs as a point guard and graduated in May with degrees in liberal arts, mathematics, and sciences with an emphasis in physics. Throughout her AHC career, Gonzales averaged 13 points and 3.6 assists per game while notching a 37.7 shooting percentage from the field. She was First Team All-Conference selection and a starting member of the program's "Fab Six" squad that advanced to the second round of the CCCAA SoCal Regionals in 2020. Gonzales, a team captain for the women's basketball program, also served as a member of the Bulldog Athlete Retention Champions (BARC) Captains' Table and assisted fellow students as a math tutor. 

Embry-Riddle, located in Prescott, is a member of the NAIA and competes in the California Pacific Conference.
