Alexandria Paquet, Kayla Taylor, and Chloe Blankenship were all named as First Team All-Conference selections at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season. This marks the third consecutive year that the Bulldogs have had three or more individuals recognized as WSC honorees.

Paquet, a sophomore guard, led the program with 13.3 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. The Ernest Righetti High School graduate, who is now a two-time All-WSC recipient, recorded a team-high of 332 points and dished out 78 assists on the season.

Taylor, a Lompoc native, closed out her sophomore season by averaging 9.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while leading the team with 1.5 blocks per contest. She snagged 10+ rebounds in four contests throughout the regular season, including a career-high of 18 against Santa Barbara, and totaled 39 blocks.

Blankenship, a native of Placerville, averaged 10.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game during a breakout season at the collegiate level. The freshman guard registered 15+ points on five occasions this season while leading the team with 110 made field goals and an 82.5 percent finish from the charity stripe. Blankenship set a career-high mark of 28 points in the must-win victory over Santa Barbara in February.

The Bulldogs ended the year with an overall record of 21-9 after suffering a 55-50 loss at Glendale College in the second round of the Southern California Regional Tournament. Both teams hovered around the mid-30 percent mark from the field, but the Vaqueros managed to find success from distance in the first half. Paquet led the team as the lone AHC member to finish in double figures with 15 points while also grabbing a team-high mark of seven rebounds. | BOX SCORE
