Women's Basketball: Paquet Selected as CCCWBCA Third Team All-State Honoree

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Awards continue to accumulate for Allan Hancock College women's basketball sophomore standout, Alexandria Paquet, who has been named as a 2022-23 CCCWBCA Third Team All-State selection. She becomes the second women's basketball student-athlete on record since the early 90s, and sixth overall in program history, to receive an All-State nod. | FULL LIST

The honor adds to an already impressive resume for Paquet, which also includes a two-time All-Conference designation. The Santa Maria native led the program this season with 13.3 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. Paquet also recorded a team-high of 332 points and dished out 78 assists on the season while ranking 13th amongst CCCAA components for her 78.6 percent effort from the charity stripe. The Ernest Righetti High School alum has tallied a total of 579 points, 161 assists, and 111 steals through two seasons in a Bulldog uniform while starting in 42 of her 51 appearances. 

Paquet was also named to the 2022-23 CCCWBCA All-Academic Team for her performance in the classroom. To qualify for Academic All-State recognition the student-athletes had to complete a year of play on their teams, earn at least 24 units of credit and maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
