Women's Basketball Grounds Condors, 90-53

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's basketball team cruised to victory in a decisive 90-53 showing at home against Oxnard College on Wednesday evening. | BOX SCORE

The Bulldogs (12-11, 5-2) nearly led from start to finish while working towards their fifth Western State Conference (North) win. The home squad outscored the Condors (2-19, 0-8) in three of the four quarters, highlighted by a 28-6 advantage in the second frame. Coach Smith's squad saw a massive improvement in long-range efficiency after the team shot a red-hot 45.8 percent from distance. Hancock also dominated the visitors inside with a 50-23 advantage on the boards and posting 40 points in the paint. 

Khaelii Robertson-Mack led all scorers on the night with a 23-point, 15 rebound double-double. Maggie Perez set a career-high mark of 22 points after sinking six shots from the three-point line, while Yuridia Ramos recorded a career-high of 10 points off of the bench and Giselle Calderon dished out a career-high of 11 assists. India Dowling-Green (12 rebounds, 10 points) and Mallory Branum (11 points) rounded out the top performers for AHC. 

The Bulldogs are set to continue league play on the road at Cuesta College on Saturday, February 10th.
