Women's Basketball: Bulldogs Complete Sweep at Cuesta, 75-68

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's basketball team completed the season sweep after securing a 75-68 victory at Cuesta College on Saturday evening. The win moves the Bulldogs to a 6-2 record against league foes, placing them in third place behind Ventura College (7-2) and undefeated Moorpark College (9-0) in the WSC North standings. | BOX SCORE

Coach Smith's squad opened the contest with a dominant 24-14 advantage after the first frame, but saw the lead fade as the Cougars cut the deficit down to just one point by the end of the third quarter. The visiting crew put the game away down the stretch after outscoring Cuesta, 23-17, in the fourth. 

Hancock posted a red-hot shooting effort of 49.2 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from distance. Khaelii Robetson-Mack led the effort with a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double performance, followed by 18 points apiece from India Dowling-Green and Giselle Calderon. Mallory Branum rounded out the top scorers with 13 tallies while dishing out a team-high mark of four assists. 

The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Wednesday, February 14th, with a road trip to face off against Moorpark College.
