
Bulldogs Roll Past LA Mission, 67-41
SANTA MARIA, Calif. – The Allan Hancock College women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on their home court, cruising past LA Mission 67-41 in a conference showdown on Saturday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
From the opening tip, the Bulldogs (10-15, 5-4 WSC) took control after outscoring the visitors from LAMC (9-14, 1-6 WSC) 19-7 in the first quarter and never looking back. The Eagles shot just 26.9 percent from the field through the first two frames and committed 11 first-half turnovers. The home squad built a 32-15 halftime lead behind their strong rebounding and defensive pressure while maintaining their grip on the game, extending their lead to as much as 29 points in the fourth quarter.
Hancock's aggressive defense forced 20 turnovers, leading to 22 points off those mistakes, while their rebounding edge (59-33) helped them control the tempo.
Khaelii Robertson-Mack led the way for Allan Hancock with a well-rounded performance, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds, and five steals. Maggie Perez contributed 13 points while shooting 50 percent from the field, including two three-pointers. Bree Luna and Anastasia Drolette also finished in double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Katy Mathews tied the team-best mark of nine rebounds after hauling in five on the offensive end.
The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Wednesday, February 11th, at home against Moorpark College for the annual Coaches VS Cancer event.
