NEXT LEVEL: Robertson-Mack Signs with University of Virgin Islands
CHARLOTTE AMALIE WEST, U.S. Virgin Islands - Allan Hancock College women's basketball standout, Khaelii Robertson-Mack, will continue her academic and athletic career at the University of the Virgin Islands next season.
"I chose UVI because I wanted to explore something different while also being able to do what I love," Robertson-Mack explained. "I love being by the water, and I also think that now is the right time for me to get away from home for a bit and see what life is like outside of here."
The Orcutt Academy grad most recently wrapped up her second season with the Bulldogs this past spring. Robertson-Mack closed out her sophomore campaign with a double-double average after posting 16.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, both being leading marks for the team. She leaves a mark on the women's program at AHC as a two-time First Team All-Conference selection while finishing just shy of the coveted 1,000-point club after scoring 913 points throughout her junior college career.
"My time at AHC showed me how to grow up and mature, on and off the court. I believe that playing here definitely helped me become a better version of myself all around," Robertson-Mack added. "I thank Coach D and Coach Connor for believing in me and pushing me, both as a player and as a person."
The Buccaneers are a member of the NAIA and compete in the Historically Black College and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC).
