Women's Golf Lands in Fifth at WSC #5

LANCASTER, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's golf team continued the season by competing in the Western State Conference #5 Meet. The event was hosted by Antelope Valley College at the Antelope Valley Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs finished in fifth place out of seven after recording a final tally of 412 after three student-athletes landed in the Top 20. College of the Canyons won the event with a final mark of 351 while Bakersfield (360), Santa Barbara (369), and Moorpark (402) rounded out the top programs. Danica Black led the way for AHC with a final score of 94, placing her in a tie for 11th place. Sidney Pruett (103) and Nicole Lindner (104) finished in 17th and 20th, respectively. 

Next up for the Bulldogs is a trip to the north for a two-day Central Coast Classic event at the Morro Bay Golf Course on October 9-10. The annual event serves as a preview of the course which will host the 2022 CCCAA Women's Golf State Championships.
