Women's Soccer Team Donates More Than 400 Books to Hancock Library

    Hancock women's soccer coach Rod Garcia had a large collection of books at his home and with the help of the team, he decided to donate more than 400 of them to the Allan Hancock College library.
    
    "I asked the library if they needed more books and they said they'd be happy to take them," Garcia said. 

    The women on his team helped to organize, store and deliver the books and recently handed the collection over to Hancock librarians. 
    
    "It was a great way to help out and to do something as a team," Garcia said.
