Five Bulldogs Score All-Conference Honors

Five Allan Hancock College women's soccer players have earned All-Western State Conference honors. The Bulldogs finished the season 3-14-4 overall under head coach Rod Garcia.

Sophomore midfielder MaryKate Smith landed on the All-Conference first team. The St. Joseph High School graduate finished with one goal and one assist according to the California Community College Soccer News website. She earned second team honors last season as a freshman.

Freshman forward Itzy Pinon-Garcia and freshman midfielder Courtney Crowe were All-Conference second team selections. Pinon-Garcia, a Righetti High graduate, led the Bulldogs with 8 goals and 8 assists. Crowe, who graduated from Santa Maria High School, played a valuable role on both defense and offense for Hancock.

Freshmen Valeria Zapeda and Janeth Bernal earned honorable mention.
