Women's Soccer Ties LA Pierce College at Home

The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team posted its sixth draw of the season after a 0-0 performance against LA Pierce College on Tuesday, October 29. The Bulldogs still sit in the middle of the conference at 2-2-3 and Brahmas fall to 2-4-2. The women's team now sits at 6-5-6 for the season and LA Pierce falls to 6-9-2.

Hancock ended the game leading in shots 14-9, but trailed in shots on goal 5-7.

Goalkeeper Brooke Stewart and the Bulldog's defense played key role and prevented any scoring chances from finding the back of the net.

The Bulldog's offense created several chances throughout the game, but could not convert.

With defense being the key to success, Alivia Valdez's performance on defense and her ball handling skills earned her the Hancock Player of the Game honors.

The Bulldogs will be at home Friday, Nov. 1, in Santa Maria when they take on the 9-4-3 Ventura College Pirates. Be sure to follow Bulldog athletics on the website or on social media at ahcbulldogs on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
