Emely Graciliano Sanchez Tabbed as Northern Santa Barbara County Female Athlete of the Week

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College women's soccer standout, Emely Graciliano Sanchez, was recognized as the Northern Santa Barbara County Female Athlete of the Week after a solid two-game showing for the Bulldogs.

The Nipomo High School alum led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week with wins over West LA and Bakersfield. Graciliano Sanchez finished the week with two goals, one assist, and a team-high of seven shots attempts (six on goal) en route to the two victories. Hancock currently holds an overall record of 2-2-1 on the season and ranks 11th in the CCCAA with 38 shots on goal thus far. 

Graciliano Sanchez and the women's soccer will return to action on Tuesday, September 21st, with a trip to Hartnell College. Match time is set to begin at 2 PM in Salinas, Calif.
