Women's Soccer Moves Up One Slot in Latest State Poll
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team continued to climb up the ladder in the latest edition of the CCCSIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Poll, announced by the association on Friday. Sports information and athletic communications professionals from around the state served as the poll's voting members.
The Bulldogs moved up one spot to the No. 8 position after tallying 89 points in the poll. Chaffey College remained at the top of the list after nabbing six first place votes en route to a final tally of 176 points. Rounding out the top five are No. 2 San Joaquin Delta (164 pts), No. 3 Santiago Canyon (157 pts), No. 4 Mt. San Antonio (154 pts), and No. 5 Folsom Lake (148 pts). Western State Conference foes joining Hancock in the mix are No. 17 Santa Barbara City and No. 20 LA Pierce.
